I, along with many close friends and family are long-time customers of Cafe Chianti (both at the old and new location). Jan and Helen, and of course, Mrs. Wicha, along with Staff (Alex, Tom (Chef)and many others) are always extremely friendly. They have always treated me, and anyone with me, like close family members each and every time we visit their wonderful establishment.

The food is the best I have ever tasted and it is always consistent. The wine cellar is one of the best in the city of Halifax, and probably in all of Canada. And, the menus are ever-changing so as to accommodate local, national and international cuisine and flavours.

I would highly recommend Cafe Chianti to one and all, and have done so on many occasions.

Thank you, the Wicha Family, for many years of wonderful food, wine, service and atmosphere.

I look forward to many more visits to Cafe Chianti in the years to come!

Out on the terrace with our visiting guests, the nearest thing to being in continental Europe. Alex brought out our finely prepared lunch with a smile and a quip. And the tour of the restaurant was impressive. We're planning a return visit.

We think it is the best restaurant in Halifax and go about once a month. Everything we have had is excellent.
